The story of Sun and Moonstone Jewelry

I started Sun and Moonstone Co in the winter of 2017. All of my best friends had just moved away and I was at odds with how I was going to spend my time and have some community. On a whim, I signed up for a class at Bathing Beauties Beads in my hometown of Missoula, MT. I felt so empowered and felt like I finally had the skills to actually make my own jewelry.
After the class, I would head into Bathing Beauties every weekend and set up at their back table and get to work. The folks at Bathing Beauties were so kind and welcoming. They became my friends and I'm so grateful for those connections and the community that I found there. They let me borrow their tools and would teach me new techniques as I got my bearings. After a few months, I launched my own Etsy and Instagram.
For the past few years I've loved attending the Missoula People’s Market, the Made Fairs and other fun local pop-ups.
